Accredit UK is a quality mark for IT suppliers, being piloted in the West Midlands. Accredit UK will promote trust in IT suppliers by affirming that they meet a stringent set of criteria.
It will prove to potential IT purchasers that companies holding the mark operate with appropriately skilled people and clearly defined processes, and that they have a track record of meeting customers’ expectations.
The pilot is being run by the National Computing Centre (NCC) with the support of a number of leading stakeholders from across the UK, including the BSI, Intellect, the ITFF and the National B2B Centre. The pilot will run for 3 years in the region prior to a planned national roll-out of the standard.
